Jim Ernst is dapper and charming-often referred to as “the boy next door.” It’s true what they say; “There is just something about him.” His smart and witty demeanor transfers into his business practice.
As the Chief Strategist of Mister and Mrs Marketing, he is responsible for overseeing all client accounts and handling strategy and development for all clients. Jim founded Mister and Mrs Marketing in 2011 to help promote positive change for clients and the communications profession. Prior to founding Mister and Mrs Marketing, Jim served as an Account Coordinator for KCD PR, a public relations firm serving financial services clients. He was responsible for managing client accounts, maintaining client websites and social media sites, and media relations. Before KCD PR, Jim served as the Communications Director for the Episcopal Diocese of Rochester and as the Creative Director for PRIMA Connections in Rochester, New York.
He has a detailed knowledge of the field and has perfected marketing strategies for professionals. He is also a sought after resource for the latest trends in the PR world. He has been quoted in PRSAY, PRSA Tactics, and CommProBiz. He has spoken in the past on how to effectively expand your professional brand and increase your reach. Jim is a graduate of St. John Fisher College where he received his B.A. in Communications/Journalism. He is currently working toward his M.A. in Public Relations through Kent State University. He is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). He currently lives in San Diego, California with his ‘Mrs.’
